Manual - Hall of Fame And for your first question go to "Chronicles -> The Teams Hall of Fame" and see who is eligible to be in yours, but first they have to retire. Read the manual. |

But you are active only since S51, so there can't be any players eligible to put in the Hall of Fame of yours yet.

You need to wait season and a half (100 days) before he become eligible to be in your hall of fame (two of my players retired at the end of season 52 and I will put them in HOF in season 54 with some credits for second one). |

OK thanks all - was more a end of season heads up, but the rule was if you had a player active in team. So I was looking at him { as his age is 30 } I don't want to let him transfer or play bad due to low skills..

Since many seasons I do it this way (because having more than 1 player available for HOF per year makes me angry, somehow, even though since ever THIS rollover I had 2 because I did forget to fire the other guy):
When I know which players will retire I will s e l e c t ONE player as future HOF, usually based on played games and his impact on the team over the years. That guy I mark as 'KEEP' in his comment field and once all games are over and done, prior the rollover, usually 2-3 updates before the rollover, I do fire all retiring players (saving me a bit of money, but not much) and keep that single guy. On rollover that one is send for golfing by Peters actions. Then it means waiting. After 100+ days his name shows up on the Teams HOF page as potential HOF. What means 100+ days? A season takes 12 real life weeks, that's 84 days. That means, the name of that guy should show up after 1 season and 16+ days. 16+ days in the next season is after the 4th regular season gameday. So for Season 51-retiring players next week on Tuesday. |

thanks - I was looking at my 30 year old as he has a year { next season} contract.. but as said I don't want him to 'slow' down and lose skills - OR - I want the 'fans' that see him as a hero. { Me } to give him a big thank you.. like the idea for a note. As I understand it under the rules of this game Joe Montana would have never been able to enter the Hall of Fame of the San Franscisco 49ers, right? Because he did not retire in SanFran, but in Kansas City?
Dang, so the QB that led our Franchise to the first ever Superbowl win will most likely not be in our HoF, because we have to let him go at the end of this season due to his demands wage-wise... |

but with the new drop in wage for old age players - you can play him at your team, why I was asking { to HoF, or low Skills} as for the Montana { to Rice} still hear it- - the terms of do I take a pay cut, or big transfer..
