Still not have enough time to play this game as thoroughly as I would enjoy, but hopefully we can have a fun season here in F.I.R.E. Season 55 Draft we got a 3.5 skill SF.. get in- Was Irish too, until made a Gunn..
Gangsta Guns moved then had a return { idea was to better ELO } Also we are moving into the Gunn Surname Team { But as we also have a few of the Old Team, before the laptop crash, players on roster.. } Not all will be a Gunn.. reason we retook a Fire Division place Draft - 2 WR players too Last edited on 2024-02-09 09:18:14 by G4ngsta |

The draft was a bust this season for the Frontiersmen. One decent offensive linesman the other two will be traded or let go.

I did not do well in the draft, but I did not put any effort into it either. Get what you sow I guess.
I will say though that all the hard work the past few seasons has really paid off. I don't really need the draft anymore and in fact, I have the luxury of being very picky with my youth pulls now. You never know how a season will play out, particuliarly in the playoffs, but I have a system in place that I think will be sustainable for many seasons to come and will result in deep playoff runs in both SC and league play. Same here.. all three players suck. lol
1st pick, got a QB who's actually a good prospect, but he's a carbon copy of the player I drafted 2 seasons ago who's since developed more. Think I'm going to attempt to sell off my starting QB since he's been my least efficient QB on roster, even though he's by far the most skilled. 2nd pick, a WR with 43 max speed and 49.7 strength.. moving him to TE and working on blocking, but may move him to FB instead.. still pondering that one. I don't really need another TE atm, but in the future he could step up when I release my top guy. 3rd pick, a 3 star SF with 42 max speed and low intelligence.. blah Fortunately, last years draft picks were all better and improving. Finally moved on to the HR department, and will still be competitive, but not likely to win division. Hopefully next year, we'll be a force. But hey, let's see how much damage these guys can do once I start tweaking my playbook again. As of now, this team is like.. a FG gold mine.. we get like 10 FG's to 1 TD it seems..
