I was wondering why bother having draft players gaining a year of age when they gain no other values from their final year of college play?

Because we access them on Season "S - 1" but draft only on Season "S".

This is more visual problem, than a real game problem.
You can scout them over the season and if you like, see the values he will have starting next season. It makes no sense to have the values lower prior the rollover and then they get, likely random, some extra values on top a few day before the draft. The aging happens, since all players do age. And if the players values are too low for your cup of tea, then don't bother with the players and let the draft happen without setting any order. Your opponents will be happy. |

You could have what we have here, now. Scout everythimg and it stays as it is. Or, and that was what I did put in as nonsense proposal, you can scout the player and then on rollover (or even on every update?) you get the progress and everyone has to scout again. So no worry, THIS does not happen. |

So no worry, THIS does not happen. I was asking this because i download the file a few days after sunday (when the next group of players are available for the next season)). And it stays in my folder for 3 months until the draft. I never download it again because except for their age (being +1) i knew everything remains the same. I will do a test about that, this season and i will see if something pops-up. Perhaps higher EXP (maybe) or even skills, because i did not try that and compared the values, even if you said it was not possible.  |
