It was only recently that I learned that the Physicals can be trained above the red line, albeit slowly. My question is can I train them above 50? If so, what's the highest Speed or Strength ever trained up to by a manager? Also, can I do the same with Agility too? Thanks!

With 90% the whole season, roughly between 0.2 and 0.5 on one attribute 2. As I understood the above 50 numbers do happen, when managers do train that last gap from 49.9 to 50 with 90% and you gain something like 0.5 in that training, so you land at 50.4 or so. I never tried to get past 50 AFTER a cap. Could work, but I doubt it, since then we would see eventually 51+ at some point, and we never saw that. 3. Agility is the same case. |

A topic that has always made me laugh. If the maximum is set at 50, it is not very logical to try to reach 50,1. It should be an insurmountable wall.

I like it. It is a good waste of training progress and at the same time the manager gets the reward of that feeling to have achieved something special. Not too bad, if you ask me.

In the senior team, Jack is almost right. With the right coach, the right facility, the right player TW and 90% training you can gain faster training over the cap (not over 50). I have trained a LB, 14 training session and i gained that 0.5 to get him from 49.5 to 50.0 at speed, as example. 1.2. In the Youth Academy, there is a different story. I have Premium Academy most importantly and there i have trained players over their cap and for players with +40 TW, i gained 0.1 at speed or strength after 2 training session. So there is an even high gain for training players over the cap. 2. The limit is set at 50.0. Even if a player is 49.5 with yellow cap and you train him 90%, there were cases in which players had higher 50.2-50.7 if you put your mouse on the "!", but that are rare cases until Pete will find them and set that player at 50.0 where he is suposed to be. The only way a player can have over 50.0 at speed or strength is by having traits which add to those physical skills. |

I had a player that was 50.6 on the hover. Only shows 50 when you open the players tab though. I have seen a couple other teams players that also showed 50.6 on the hover.
Here is a link to a past bug report. With interesting pete comment. #post100184771">50.6 |

For the record, such a comment was posted quite a few times during the last 12 years. So there is nothing special on this certain comment.

Just tested the 49.8 -> 90% method on a player and he had after the training 50.0, no extra fraction visible, not on tool tip, not in the players sheet.

Has anyone tried training their physicals Strength and Speed to 50 first, regardless of the player's red lines, and then train their skills afterwards? I think it would require a certain type of player...one with high teamwork, and one with maxed out Strength and Speed already above 45 maybe? I mean, when they have their skills really high, with accompanying high salaries, wouldn't one want their physicals of Strength and Speed already maxed to 50? So at the time the player is costing you the most salary you already have the physicals maxed out at 50 and they're playing their possible best? As compared to you paying the player their highest salary and yet you're still working on getting their physicals of Strength and Speed to 50? Just a thought? Thanks!
