It is not only about such noise. RZA is my hobby for 15 years now. It was always meant to be a hobby. No money machine, no Lets catch as many victims as I could. I was always under assumption to make what makes my day, provides me fun. And if other like it: great.
That might sound a bit selfish, yes. Might sound arrogant, maybe. But it is honest |

I just saw that the amount of managers did drop below 200. And Mr. Pumpkin and his Motol Ducks was one of them. Sad to see him go. A manager who was a mentor with a active team since season 6. |

I remember a time, yes, a long time ago when there were +2000 users Uh, seems you are confusing games with each other. RZA had short of a thousand users in peak, 2012 |

I think Pete needs to ignore alot of the noise, particularly around the above. Some of the posts ive seen around teams that shouldnt be losing as they had the best OVR Ratings are silly. The fact that i have a slim chance to beat anyone in this game regardless of OVR or ELO or anything else is what makes it PLAYABLE and realistic. Could not agree with this more. The fact that you cannot buy your way to success is a huge plus for me. Upsets happen. That's a great thing. |

Some players who left in the last recent seasons and their concerns can shed some light on some of the issues of questionable game simulation outcomes Both things are true, I think. My guess would be that the complexity of the game is the thing that's most repellent for new managers. And that mistakes that one new to the game might view as minor can have massive impact on the success of the franchise that you just started. But this last one stems from the fact that less and less players stay, as I've experienced in RedZoneClash the last months. The less players there are the more you have a deeeep rift between the good ones and those who struggle, be it because of just starting the game or be in rebuild. To be successful for a longer stretch of time, and that is what every manager is looking for, it need's a pretty well defined package of roster and playbook, both of which are parts of this game where you have to put the most time into. And the more successful you want to be, the more time you have to put into it. But even then there's the fact that, despite being VERY confident that you put together everything like you think the game demands from you, long stretches of games still can go WAY beyond everything you deemed bad for your squad to happen... and it sometimes does seem that there's very little that can be done to avoid it. I guess there are very few people nowadays that are willing to put the time into something like this. And you cannot fault them... Last edited on 2024-07-20 20:45:30 by Chrill |

What you have seen over there 2 weeks ago was me using the banhammer on a network of teams cheating with referal credits. RZC was never able to hook a significant number of players, even it has less demand in time and management compared to RZA. This makes me thinking that "too demanding" is not that single huge reason for RZA failing atract more gamers. Last edited on 2024-07-20 21:17:52 by pete |

The game is like real life, it has its own mysteries and this is one of the funnest part of it. You can play the same match 100 times, you will never be able to predict the final result, I love it !!! I'd like to understand how Blitz and Kraken can be consistently on top, but that's my limit as RZA coach... if you cannot accept it, well this game is not for you. After many leagues everyone lowers his/her enthusiasm, even this is part of the life. As long as I have fun (and as long as Pete has fun) I will play RZA. |
