Prompted by the sad news about Hulk Hogan (R.I.P.), and not wanting to dilute the topic in the thread about it.
At the time when the WWF star was at the top of the form, I had plenty of plans to impress the world. The ones I remember: - - find the analytical solution of the 3-body problem - - create the algorithm to help Mr Data learn to understand jokes - - beat the track and field world record on the 1500m distance - - build my financial safety (the garage with 100 luxury cars was not in the plans) - - have 2-3 kids - - enjoy the happy life in the country which has just regained peacefully the freedom to explode with ideas to take advantage of the democratic path. Poland, that. - - live long enough to see the earth in the XXII century Failed miserably, on most counts  . Got only one kid. The AI created by others seems not to care about Mr Data's problem at all, concentrating on mundane tasks instead. Financial safety and the homeland free of the spiralling polarisation - gone with the wind. Yes, I see the chance the medical progress will make it possible for me to live not only until 2101 but even 2201, but I am no longer sure if I want to see what has become of our planet by then (and definitely not to look at the mirror to see what will have become of me). 1500m... Forget it. More and more often 1500m is about as far as I can walk without having to rest 
On the positive side, I don't think I am as negative as the text above suggests. Got only one daughter, but she's more dear to me than all those thingies above combined. She, and her mother, obviously. Got few but good friends. And a place where I can share these thoughts , thanks to Pete and you guys.
