love the new pole style great job and looks professional maybe hiding the results until you have made a vote would be better though?

as for the topic this came about because i threw a in another thread so obviously voted yes, and i would be happy with a new wage being issued based on the players skills at the time of transfer

do HR users get to see the contract expectations for players on the TM? i see just ???? does it show up on scout reports if not? if it does show up on either then each player needs to have their current skills wage visible to non HR managers in the same place so there is no UNFAIR advantages to either decision, anyone that voted no in the pole voted to make non HR a pointless thing that might as well of been removed altogether and have everyone automatically start in HR

Changed it that way:

No vote given and within voting period: no result preview

OK, the community gave a clear answer.

I will accept this opinion, and change the transfer process that way. More information coming soon.

We missed one point there... What's about the draftees?

Engine to manager transers are not affected, we were talking about manager to manager transfers only

Just for your information: the transfer got the update, the manual too.

Thanks for helping me on making a decision.

No Peter, thank you for making it a community decision. Sure, in the end you could over ride it, but you didn't. I have never, ever, been on a sim game or role playing game where the designer asked for community input to make a decision and then use that input. You do so on a routine basis. Do you realize what a burden it takes off of you? If people don't like a change in these examples it is on them for voting that way. It takes away that murky element of the people vs "the corporation" or "the man."

I have indeed found myself less and less on other game sites. It is not because this one demands more time, but I would rather spend more time here.

Kind words, sfniner. Thank you!

Let me add: I never understood why "admins" don't listen...whenever you look at professional software projects...there is a masterplan you will have to stick with...and the add-on featuritis is mainly controlled by the customers input. So why do game designers tend to ignore these rules? I won't understand it ever...there is absolutely no harm in listening to customers...and as a last resort, each game owner can decide not to follow the community...

So cheers, the next poll will come for sure
