Its all rather self serving in a "here's what we gave the world" kind of way, although I suppose it would be criticised for not being British enough if that werent the case.
It started off terribly, but its had its moments. |

It wasn't so bad. The torch was very cool, and I like that each country brought a small piece of it in with them as they entered.
I also like that they actually got 'the next generation' to light the torch. rather than an ex-athlete. It was a very symbolic moment. |

Couldnt believe it wasnt Steve Redgrave - but i think youre right overall.
Yeah, it was decent. But then with a budget of £27 million, youd kinda hope so. |
