Ha Ha. I have the same script season to season. I don't perform as well at the beginning of the season (although Shoutin did beat me fair and square, heck he had a great game plan!) but pick up steam as the season goes on. At the beginning I try out new plays or continue to try and implement the pass. When that fails as it traditionally has, I go to my pound the ball with the run game. Most of my transactions that take place that affect my roster for the season occur during the offseason/beginning of the season. So it takes a bit to build up the TC and PC. If I pick up a player late in the season they don't play for me. It is a move for next year.
All that said, if I am beat it isn't by a scrub team, it is a good team. I had a feeling about this game but went ahead with my semi balanced game plan. What will happen now? I'm going to run run run run run run run run until next season.

MALAKAS BULL vs. Duran Durans Malakas to beat Simon Le Bon and his 80's Pop Band Madrid Typhoons vs. FAJNY TIM Madrid to beat Fajny and his 35 Draftee QB's ....
difficult to bet against Fajny Tim though, it's such a cool team Mystic Warriors vs. Shoutin' The Odds I wouldn't be mystified to see Mystic win Nebraska Cornhuskers vs. Huncutok Nebraska to bring home the corn Ordes Saints vs. S F If S F plays his normal *cough* boring *cough* game of 'Ground and Pond' , S F will win ..... if S F lets QB Dave 'The Interception-Machine' Conger throw ... he'll lose Pink Panthers vs. Zaragoza Maños 2 tough teams .... never a good idea to back against The Panthers though Rapiers vs. Majalorca Pigs Majalorca to put Rapiers to the sword Red Black Warriors vs. DaCoolest Joe to lose da cool after the Warriors beat him red and black ... err, I mean black and blue Steely Phils vs. Scarlet Scorpions Phils to be on his mettle (get it ? ) and take the sting out of the Scorpions

Fighters de Paris vs. Yurop Lions
Yurop should win this. Fighters have just one win so far and they've only been competitive versus teams who are weaker than Yurop. Girona Dragons vs. Noname Girona remains undefeated here. Kolin Walruses vs. DaCoolest I just can't see DaCoolest winning any more games this season. A shame, he was lucky enough to get into his brothers division which should've been one from which survival was possible. MALAKAS BULL vs. Steely Phils A very important game here, playoffs are at stake and the loser will have a hard time catching up. Both these teams have given me an ass whooping and there's not much between them. I'm going with Steely for no reason at all. Majalorca Pigs vs. Essen Panther Same story as with Girona. Nebraska Cornhuskers vs. Duran Durans A pretty important match for us. If we could win this, I'd be pretty confident about avoiding relegation at the end of the season. However, I don't think we're strong enough to win today so advantage Nebraska. Pink Panthers vs. Mystic Warriors Pink Panthers will hope to win this to keep them in the running for wildcard slots, but advantage Mystic. Red Black Warriors vs. Rapiers Rapiers can't find a win while Red Black have shown themselves to be probably the best newly promoted team. S F vs. Comedy Gold Minors SF wins this. Shoutin' The Odds vs. Ordes Saints Shoutin' should win this, Ordes are probably the second weakest team in 1.1 and I don't see them staying up. Stuttgart Supernovas vs. Les Mousquetaires Stuttgart wins. Sweaty Bulls Padova vs. Oldham Typhoons Sweaty Bulls are a strong team and should win this. Oldham with a 2-6 score after this game are still in the race for the playoffs! NC East is a weird place. The Northern Riviera vs. Horadada Blues The NC South is also very open with 3 teams possibly ending this week with a 6-2 score. That is of course, if Riviera can beat Horadada in this game and that's a tough one for them. They have yet to beat Horadada in a league game, can this be the one? My guess is they have a better chance when playing at home. Well, that took longer than expected. I can see why there's a new person doing this every week. |
