How is -TOG-different in the monotonous feeling? I mean, jeez those seasons go on forever! How do they not just blend in together? Is it the number of levels you can go up? I think RZA is heading into the area where we can consider adding a 3.X. league.

But I don't look at G*I the way you do .... I just see it as a slightly odd American Football Management Game and as every other Manager has the same opportunities to beat me as I have to beat them then I don't see it as a problem. I also prefer the Transfer Market in G*I to RZA .... it's easy to pick up badly-trained G*I players (with Talent) for peanuts and then spend some time re-balancing those players into good players.There is little value at all on the RZA TM ..... not sure why, probably too many Day-traders |

I just really hate to see a good manager leave the game. You have shown steady progress each season. A few seasons ago you were 6-10 with a -91 pd, the next season you also finished 6-10 but with a +38 pd. This season you are 10-3 with a whopping 324 pd. In fact you have the 3rd best pd in the league. You also have the #6 rush offense and #6 rush defense.
This season you have 3 losses that were all extremely close vs really good teams. You lost by 3 points to Horada and then beat him the next game. You lost to Stuttgart by 1 point. You lost to Girona by 4 points. His only other game that was that close the whole season was a win over Horada by 3. Your 6-10 loss to Girona was his lowest scoring game in league play this season. Dude, I think you are almost there. |

I'm sure you would have been happy with a 10-6 score at the beginning of the season. I don't see why we can't make that happen on Saturday!

I think this might be my last season in RZA. My Supporter Account expires in a few weeks and I'm undecided whether to renew it or not.
RZA seems to have got a little too crazy for me in the last few months :- The 'New Engine' is bizarre , I've played Friendlies against teams that have only existed for 2/3 weeks and these teams can suddenly pass the ball all-day with hardly one interception or dropped catch ..... it's just not realistic. I think next season could see some crazy scorelines and some Divisions will be turned upside-down.
Other recent 'improvements' are 'Stadium Shape/Condition' (a truly mis-directed idea if ever I saw one). 
I just get the feeling that RZA isn't going in the right direction. It's a shame really, as Dragons 1.1. seems to be becoming a competitive League with a varied collection of good Managers (although I'd need to speak Spanish/Italian in order to be truly competitive ).
So .... I'll need to decide whether to stay around for another season or whether to go Bot and concentrate on G*I which I'm enjoying now that I'm in a higher Division. 
I've even thought about going Bot and then coming back to try and build a new Team, either in Dragons 2.1/2.2 or possibly in another League .... but I'm not sure if that is a good idea or not. Last edited on 2012-10-03 20:51:54 by sh8888 |
