It is because he has a better chance right now to win. That is the only logical reason I can think of.

Actually, my RZA team is probably 10 times better than my G*I team .... so there is neither logic nor reasoning in that.

I suppose I'll type up a quick little post season prediction for the first round...

Fajny vs Stuttgart

Fajny has the edge in all categories and he is ranked higher in rush offense and rush defense which is the strength for both clubs. Some may scoff at Stuttgart and say they are in a weak division, of course they made the playoffs. While that it is true second place in the division finished 4-12 there are some games that Stuttgart played outside the division that show their caliber. They barely lost to Madrid and Horada. They beat Northern Riviera, Pink Panthers.

For Fajny it is a matter of consistency. He had been clobbered by Madrid 0-40 and by Steely 6-24. He has also had wins against Sweaty bulls and Madrid 45-0. How do you lose 0-40 and beat that same team later in the season 45-0? If Fajny is on his game I expect a W but who knows which Fajny shows up?

I'm taking Fajny but only by a field goal or less.

Sweaty Bulls @ Steely Phils

These two teams played only 2 games ago in league play with Sweaty pulling out a 14-10 win. Sweaty had a significant rating advantage, so was this a case of MOTY for Steely not coming through or was it a great game plan? A quarter of Sweaty's total yardage came on a single scoring pass of 68 yards. Can Steely prevent the big play? I am going on a gut call here but I'm picking Steely to win this by a 6 points.

Northern Riviera @ Yurop Lions

Northern has beaten Yurop in both games in the regular season (14-3, 27-23). He also has the ratings advantage. I'm picking Northern by 9 points.

Horada @ Oldham

Man this NC South Division was tough, wasn't it? 3 teams getting in. Horada won the first game 21-17. Horada has had some ups and downs this season. Getting blasted by Yurop 59-0 is a down but the next game was close at 7-13 vs Yurop. Will Horada have the "A" game? I actually don't think they need an A game, but at least a B game should be ok. I think Oldham would admit they are fortunate to have made it into the playoffs. Oldham won it's last 5 games to finish with a 9-7 record. Those final 5 games were against opponents who had a combined record of 22 and 43. The best team in that win streak was 8-8. If Oldham is going to prevail it will have to be with it's strength, the passing game. Oldham desperatly needs the pass game to have some big plays to survive beyond this round.

I'm taking Horada by 14 points.

hmm it's not about team's consisctency but mine When I experiment with playbook I lose a lot getting owned or sometimes owning better teams and this game I'll experiment more than ever because I just don't have other choice after two last lost games in supercup playoffs and friendly cup final...History shows that when I play something totally new I lose every time so now I'm going to win by +2 TD's

If games were won by Forum Avatars then Fajny would be 16-0 ! ...... that is one of the coolest forum avatars ever .... and a tad scary too

I'll disagree with Sfniner08 on most of these predictions because he does seem to specialise in being wrong most of the time

as for "Team X by 14 points" etc ..... forget it .... this Engine (both old engine and, especially new engine) are so random that it's just pure guesswork and totally pointless.

Fajny vs Stuttgart .... could be either, way too close to call.

Padova vs Steely ...... again .... too close, maybe Steely because of Homefield advantage

The Northern Riviera vs Yurop Lions ..... Yurop can destroy any team .... I just don't have (and can't be bothered to even try to have) an effective Playbook like this team has ..... so Yurop will win this game very easily

Horadada vs Oldham ....... Oldham throws the ball well (2nd only to Yurop if you check the Hall of Fame for League Games only (ignore the shite SC games, anyone looks good with a few Bots in their group )) ........ but Horadada is a real old-fashioned 'Ground and Pound' team that does the rushing game very effectively ...... I think Horadada may have the edge in this game.

Lol ... time to move Yurop, Horadada and The Northern Riviera in to different divisions/conferences ..... teams such as S F get an easy ride every year because he never gets to play anyone who is good.

You forget that I've been unable to beat you this season. Also my pass defence is terrible, despite being one of the best in previous seasons.

I really want to know what it is about 2 and 11 that leads to such amazing passes. My team does the same, with 3 and 11 as well.

I feel very bad....and quite ashamed

My team has been lucky in all 3 games vs Yurop this season.
I'd like to win by being the best team, but on all 3 occasions I wasn't the best team.

The 2nd & 11/ 3rd & 11 thing is worse in the New Engine ...... I've played Teams in Friendlies that have existed for 20 days or less and they can all pass like Tom -G.O.A.T- to Wes Welker ! .
However, if the new passing Engine should suit any team .... Yurop Lions would surely be the one.

Hello Dragons - thought id come see you all - and within 5 seconds felt nothing but abject sympathy for you all for having to endure SH8888.....that man (we assume he's a man...could explain a few things if he isnt actually) has more whine in him than Alsace-Lorraine...very sorry you guys have got lumbered with him!

We have BWadders in Admirals - so we have much the same frustrations as you guys have id think but SH8888 is a little more intelligent and reasoned than our Brummie berk - i guess every league has one!

Anyway, good luck for your playoffs and keep humouring him....trying to reason with him is like trying to teach a pig to sing - you cant do it, and it irritates the hell out of the pig!

But we wouldnt wanna lose him....would we? Maybe PM me with your answers to that....hehehe

Good luck all!

The Redskins logo is the clue, it tells you all you need to know..... and more besides

and it's so apt that MTS1972 plays in the Admirals league ..... in the UK, we would refer to MTS1972 as a Rear-Admiral

anyway ..... don't allow this preening pierrot interloper to disturb the tranquil harmony or lower the highly cerebral tone of the award-winning Michelin-starred Dragons Forum with his vacuous and inane remarks.
