As some teams have now played 8 games ...... a quick review of 1.1 and where the teams are currently at :-
The Elite Majalorca Pigs - One loss. Plenty of TD's scored, very few TD's conceded. Verdict:- Headed for the Bowl (again !) Girona Dragons - Similar to Panoramix, Quimreira looks to have adapted to the New Engine and is probably the team to beat in the NC Conference. Verdict:- The road to the NC Conference Championship goes via Catalunya. On The Rise Yurop Lions - Only one loss (to Majalorca), few points conceded, but also few points scored Verdict:- 100% certainty of another Divisional Championship, could be the main rival to Girona in the NC Conference. Malakas Bull - Currently unbeaten , and in such a tough Division too .... impressive ! Verdict:- Can this team beat Panoramix ? Steely Phils - Two losses, but also beaten Padova and Majalorca. Verdict:- Playoffs and beyond ....... Sweaty Bulls Padova - Another Team that seems tailor-made for the New Engine, the highest scoring-team in Dragons 1.1 (and that includes the Teams who shamefully ran up the scores vs Bots ... gents, what were you thinking ? ) Verdict:- An all-Italian Conference Final ?? Mystic Warriors - 7-0, unbeaten and going nicely. Verdict:- Playoffs ... NC Championship ?? Solid Teams Zaragoza Manos - 7-1 in a v.tough Division Verdict:- Happy that I'm not in that Division Red Black Warriors 5-2 and consistently impressive .... the 3-52 mauling yesterday was a shock. Verdict :- Playoffs S F - 7-0, but with some shaky results (23-17 vs V.Strong Kickers ) and still to play Mystic (twice) Verdict :- Can any trophies be won with Laurel & Hardy as QuarterBacks ? This Season's Under-Achievers Madrid Typhoons - 1-6 ???? Verdict:- Never thought I'd live long enough to see Madrid at 1-6 Stuttgart Supernovas - 3-4 ? Verdict:- A hard schedule (Pigs, Mystic) ... and some close results (48-49 ouch !) Horadada Blues - 3-4 ? ..... and some tough games remaining (Pigs, Yurop) Verdict:- Yurop looks out-of-sight in this Division The NC East - 3-4,3-4,3-5,3-5 Verdict:- an Ugly Division The Northern Riviera 5-3 Verdict:- a very handsome Manager New Teams Dome Babbies - 4-3 Verdict:- Could win the AC South Suits & Sandwiches - 3-4 Verdict:- Everything still to play for Mad Rabbitohs - 3-5 .... but in that Division, who isn't Verdict:- Mad London Redcoats 1-7 Verdict:- Struggling The Luddites - 6-2 Verdict:- Impressive ....... tough games remaining though (Girona twice etc etc) Struggling Cardiac Huskers 3-5 Verdict:- A v.good team in a v.tough Division Duran Durans 3-5 Verdict:- Not too bad for a 2nd year team Essen Panther 1-6 Verdict:- errrrrr, struggling. Comedy Gold Minors 0-7 Verdict:- Not looking promising Fighters de Paris 2-5 Verdict:- doing OK in a difficult Division Scarlet Scorpions 1-6 Verdict:- Not logged-in since 15th November Fajny Tim 3-4 Verdict:- Bagss is Bagss ! .... if this team was consistent, it wouldn't be Bagss' team. but please ..... GET RID OF THE CAPITAL LETTERS IN THE TEAMNAME, THANKS ! Bots/Semi-Bots Very Strong Kickers ... Bot Pink Panthers .... would be a shame to lose Jodla, a very talented Manager (I think he won the G*I World Cup as Poland Manager .... whereas Bagss didn't ) Huncutok ........ looking close to being Bot |

Hey now my qbs have ratings of 108 and 95. Not fantastic but not shabby.
I feel I can keep up with my qb's. My wr's and te are pretty good. Heck my laurel and hardy duo helped to score 63 points this season in a league game. Looking forward to the game with Mystic with the new engine. I've beaten him 3 times in a row, but it was the old engine... Still a lot of questions to be answered with some newer teams..... |

Hmm...looks like I'm the only 2-loss team on the rise.
I fully intend to keep rising after I give Bagss his 5th loss on Saturday. |

I don't think Fajny should be in the struggling tier, he had some tough games but his schedule is getting easier. He's got 3 really tough games with Steely and 2xPadova to go, the rest he should be a clear favorite to win. A realistic 9-7 finish that could easily be 10-6 kinda stands out in among the "strugglers".

I was thinking of putting Bagss in his own unique category "Solid but just soooooo Inconsistent" ..... however, putting him in "Struggling" was punishment for EXCESSIVE AND WILFUL MISUSE OF CAPITAL LETTERS IN TEAMNAMES Last edited on 2012-11-29 09:45:35 by sh8888 |

Girona at the same level the Majalorca? ...
Thank you very much, but this is an impossible dream. Girona is not a bad team, but has a long way to get to the elite. SF, Padova, Mystic, and some other teams are better than the Dragons. But my intention is just that, keep up with these teams. I hope to get it soon. |
