Just starting a thread for Season 7 predictions, discussions, and such.
Difficult to predict with another engine change. The new balance that will reduce the crazy games where one team dominates all stats loses to the team that has 4 long touchdown passes should be behind. Thank goodness! Running the ball will be more viable but not as powerful as engine one. The more balanced the offense the better. I also like that turnovers aren't instant touchdowns all the time too. If I get time I'll post some predictions for this next season. |

I'm absolutely offset in this season, I do not know how the new engine will react. My basic objective is again to reach play-off's.
Favorites? I think the best candidate to repeat title is (again) Majalorca. He is the most powerful team season after season. Malakas, Padova, Mystic, SF and Northern are in second line.

my objective is the same as every season .... 6 wins to avoid relegation/relegation playoffs ...... although, because Nebraska got 6 wins last season and still got relegated, I think the objective must now change to 7 wins   |

AC East
This is one rough and difficult division to play in! Returning Teams Any of the returning 3 could realistically win the division. Malakas only finished one game ahead of Steely who had a 12-4 record. Zaragoza could compete (finished 10-6) if they can manage to fend off the typical second half collapse of a season. Think it is only perception that Zaragoza collapses in the second half? How about this, since season 3 Zaragoza has a first half combined record of 26-6 but a second half combined record of 11-21. Wow, right? New Teams The new team the Dulverton Dragons adds to the Britt count here. lol. It is becoming a Spanish/British league. They have ok ratings but I saw that Yurop who had a tough year last year finished 6-10 had destroyed them in a supercup match. The Dragons were also tore up by State Smashas in the conf. championship game. Unfortunately for them they landed in a one tough division. Prediction Alas, I think Steely can win this division but until Malakas is knocked off they have to stay at the top of the predictions for that division. 1. Malakas 2. Steely (double digit wins again, would not be surprised to see him win the division). 3. Zaragoza (could be higher if he avoids the epic collapse) 4. Dulverton |

AC North
Returning Teams All four teams return here. As tough as the AC east is to play in the AC north is as tough to predict. Frank was either 1st (3 times) or 2nd (one time) every season until last years plummet to a 4-12 record. Then you have the typical crapshoot predicting any game for Fanjy who will dominate you or get upset by a serious underdog. Although based on trend patterns it should be an up year for him. Seaon 3 he is 11-5, Season 4 he is 10-6, season 5 he is 11-5, season 6 he is 8-8. So based on the pattern he should be 11-5 lol. Sweaty is the best bet I suppose considering he hasn't had worse than a 11-5 record ever in this league. He has won 11,11,11,12, and 15 games through the seasons. Wow. Duran Durans have shown improvement going from 5 wins to 7 wins in season 6. It will take a lot more improvement to compete in this division. No new teams. Prediction 1. Sweaty (most consistent producer in the division) 2. Fajny ( bounce back season) 3. Madrid (I just can't see them losing that much again this season, perhaps comeback team of the year?) 4. Duran Durans. (will have to work hard to avoid relegation game) |

AC South
Returning Teams All four teams are returning this season. I am sorry and mean no disrespect, but this was the most painful division to watch. Stuttgart is clearly the head of the class here as the only team with a winning record. This division is the Carousel division as there have been 13 different teams in it. Historically it hasn't been a great division due to that constant change. Season 3 the best team was 9-7. Season 4 Stuttgart came and has ruled there ever since. He went 11-5 with Les finishing 10-5. Season 5 Stuttgart won again 11-5 with the second place team finishing 4-12. Season 6 Stuttgart won with a 10-6 record. Second place was 7-9 and it was the same team that went 4-12 the season before. Perhaps Essen can give Stuttgart some competition? Prediction Same as last season: 1. Stuttgart 2. Essen 3. Dome 4. Suits |

AC West
Returning Teams Pigs are the best team year to year in all of RZA. It is his division, period. The rest are just working to get a wild card win. Pigs are successful not just because of having good players, but mostly because of his work on detailed playbooks. I'm not sure what is going on with Jodla. His Pink Panthers were the only threat to the Pigs for several seasons, but due to possible time constraints his team almost went bot at one point last season. He is checking in at times now. Perhaps with the great draft position he will get the players he need to get back on track. Red Black Warriors bursted onto the scene in season 5 with a 11-5 record and finished last season with a 10-5 record. Red Black Warriors were the 2.2 league champs in season 4. A seamless transition up for them. They have company though... New Team Lightworks is the 2.1 league champ in season 6. This is now a champion division, lol. We have 3 teams with some type of league championship. wow. Lightworks last season lost only one league game all year, to Birka also a new team to 1.1. The avenged the loss to Birka by destroying them in the conf. championship game. They will give Red Black some competition for the second spot. Predictions 1. Majalorca 2. Red Black 3. Lightworks 4. Panthers 2-4 could change to anything... |

NC East
Returning Teams The NC East is as to the AC South. Many changes with a division winner in single digit wins often times. Kolin, the division winner last season with an 8-8 record shocked the Dragons world by beating SF, Girona, and losing a heartbreaker game to Mystic by 3 points. Those three teams had a combined season record of 45-8. They lost the same number of games combined as Kolin did alone. Kolin was the Baltimore Ravens of this NFL season. This division does have competitive teams though. Of the 4 returning teams, 3 of them have each won the division once in the last 3 seasons. Mad Rabbits came back to 1.1 last season and finished with the same record as Kolin of 8-8. Prediction ?????? I have no idea, anyone could win it. Anyone... |
