My pleasure, I have just been so busy with the new job, they are working me like a dog! So writing my beloved articles and press releases have become a bit harder too do
 .
But, I'm determined to post them now, so keep an eye on this post. And no worries; there will be a Toilet Bowl III

Facing a hostile Atlantes crowd, the Bandits on first two possessions of the game ate huge chunks of clock capped by fieldgoals for both impressive drives. Keeping the Atlantes out of scoring opportunity, the Bandits broke their touchdown drought early in the second with a four yard run by FB Jaunius Danilevicius leading 13-0 at the 13:11 mark. It was enough of a spark for the Atlantes to strike back, as they put all power in three impressive drives of their own, starting with a 25 yard fieldgoal, intercepted Menezes of the Bandits in the very next series, then drove quickly and caught the defense off-guard with FB Ramon Moiseev scampering for 16 yards. Atlantes again held back the Bandit offense, then had K Orest Kaminskyi boot a 41 yard fieldgoal to tie the game up at 13 a piece at the half. The third quarter became a see-saw battle for both teams. Both teams never had a scoring opportunity, and both teams had their punters working overtime making it a scoreless third quarter for both teams, keeping it 13-13 going into the fourth. Going into the fourth quarter, the Atlantes had all the momentum after finishing the third with positive yardage and inching closer to grab the lead. But in scoring range on the Bandit 29 facing third down and nine yards to go, Bandit MLB Jacinto Mallego intercepted and ran the ball back for 39 yards. This set up a five yard, and second touchdown of the day for Danilevicius to make the score 20-13, Bandits. The Atlantes never gave up. Back and forth from both teams for a few series, but suddenly the Atlantes found themselves at first and goal from the one yard line. The Bandits re-energized, and held them out of the end-zone for two plays before FB Scott Walsh sniffed out a gaping hole in the defense and exploited it for the tie again at 20-20. The excitement of this game now exploded with a 20-20 tie with only 2:55 to go in Toiletbowl II. The Bandits found themselves at their own 18 yard line, and the stingy Atlantes defense standing in their way. But the Bandits found their second wind, and marched down the field with purpose. The drive plays: A nine yard run. A seven yard run. A 10 yard pass. An 11 yard pass. A 10 yard pass. A 14 yard pass; all consecutive plays, and with two seconds left in the game, Adam Moeller split the uprights from 38 yards out to give the Bretzfeld Bandits their first Toilet Bowl championship. Atma City Xenos and the citizens of Atma City wish to congratulate all participants in the second annual Toiletbowl. |
