They weren't going to be a prolific passing offense anyway. The pieces will be adjusted to fit the machine and they will carry on. It won't be out of the question that they will look outside for another WR, but I think that would be unnecessary.

Crabs will be back in December and a potential playoff drive in either case. Better to have this injury in May than in August.

Unless you're a cowboys or jets fan and the injury is to Romo or Sanchez

The scary thought is the 49ers still have Anquan Boldin, and Coach Harbaugh believes in his young draft picks. After Crabtree's rookie holdout and development, the question remains: How much will the 49ers miss Michael Crabtree?
After that 49ers - Packers playoff game, I'm more scared of Capernick running the football. We need to stop that.

Anything that happens aside this team gets to show what it really is this year and that it was not a "Cinderella run." I have about a 50/50 in the Kap. But I do have 100 in Boldin. He can do without Crabtree with Boldin.

49'ers ship A.J. Jenkins out and get Jonathan Baldwin in return. I actually quite like the deal, Baldwin has potential even though he seems to behave like a dick from time to time (lol ... which footballers don't ).

Maybe he can be a reasonable temporary replacement for Crabtree (talking of acting like a dick )
