Two of my coaches are retiring at the end of the season. If I bid on another one and win the auction now it says that my current coach will get "fired" which is fine as he'll retire in 2 updates anyway but would I have to pay a penalty for firing a retiring coach?
Feel a bit ashamed to ask a "rookie question" after almost 2 years playing this game  |

Retiring coaches do not cause penalties for the team due replacing them...

Is it only "replacing" retiring coaches that is without penalty or can I just "fire" him without penalty too?

there is no penalty on firing a coach, except if he is not retiring, then he will ask for some contract compensation. But no penalty on Morale or whatever...
