You guys looked a bit lost late Pete! Was looking forward for a Hail Mary try but they had that ......I don't know what to call that play...lateral stupidity to cancel the excitement.

Still, that stud D is gold.

now that the saints are out i'm on board with the hawks- i'd rather them make the superbowl than the 9ers or panthers.

I'm a fairly recent Seahawks follower owing to my job, and there's no doubt the supporters are as passionate as those soccer supporters in my native North-East of England. Having followed the NFL fairly closely this season, I just think it might be their time - no particularly outstanding individuals, but a very good squad, a good balance, a great never say die mentality that is shared by the fans. I think they don't really know when they're beaten, and they don't have a particular strength that makes them play a certain way, which makes them difficult to shut down. Fortunately I'm in Seattle next weekend, so should get the Conference Championship game in a bar - looking forward to it!
