Double digit comeback. Picks on back to back possessions in OT. Just glad I was involved in that game.
Side note: I never thought I'd feel like winning 14 games would be a down season for my team but with the prospect of having to most likely beat 3 undefeated teams in a row to get my first title, I have high doubts that this will be my season. |

I can't believe I came back fro 21-0 down in the 1st QT to not even attempt a FG when the game was tied at the last second of regulation... Playbooks needs to be amended quickly even though it most definitely won't be enough to beat Alex in the Divisional round...

Thanks guys.
It was somewhat unexpected to be quiet honest, despite me knowing I had a better team than last season I didn't think the team was ready to be champ this season, but I knew we were better and that given the chance there was exactly that...a chance! And seemingly it was meant to be. In the end I think my team did deserved it, albeit if it was the Ravencitos to take the ring home it would also be deserved, afterall eliminating the Dynamos in the conference game is no small feat on it's own. I never really payed much attention to the undefeated record because my team had a relatively low strength schedule with a lot of bot teams which made it easier to carry on that 16-0, so I never really payed much attention to it. I think I got more convinced on my team's capacity after we managed to beat the Alcatraz Swim Team in the divisional round, a tough opponent that usually puts alot of points on the board and we were able to somewhat stop their juggernaut offense, then against the Magpies I have no idea what bug bit their team, that game result was weird and not even close to what everyone would expect from a conference round, something went terribly wrong for the Magpies there, but I seriously don't know what. But I ain't complaining either! And today a great game with uncertainty almost until the end, but I think the better team today won. Still congrats to the Ravencitos on a great great season, and good luck to everyone for next season, be it on the Top league or on our very own Fire league. |

Gratz on winning the championship. I didn't want to jinx you but I wantd you to win it so that I would feel better about my lose to you which made me think it was your year. There were 3 fumbles in that game (my guys forced two and we put one on the ground) and your team recovered all of them and returned our's for a TD. Without that fumble return for a TD it's a completly different game in my opinion. You still probably would have won. Good luck in the World's Greatest League That's Every Existed next season |
