Honestly I no fan of those "some Managers can s e l e c t the best of the best and make a small competition of all stars" regardless the rules.
It's always a "nerd" Thing, but not something the majority of all Managers is involved or does participate. I would like much more a mass competition which does involve the 8 regions and from those all Managers. |

More like the Davis-Cup, like Region vs Region, but not with a all-star roster.
All Teams from one Region do Play all Teams from another Region and the wins and losses are counted. The Region with more wins gets to the next round. With 8 regions (the Elite Teams do Count to their former regions) this would be a short competition of max 3 games for the each Team) I did suggest this already in some threat, but it was ignored. I still think this would be a good idea, since all Teams can participate, and the results are totally unexpected, since 104 Teams do Play vs 104 Teams (max, BOT vs BOT can be ignored) and it would be best to have only an uneven number of games to have a clear winner. The whole Region winning Team gets a trophy. |

That is a good idea, I like it. I think bots could be a problem though, some regions have more bots and a team could go bot after a game has been scheduled. If it comes down to one game decides it but the losing team played three less bots people will go mental! That in itself could be quite amusing though!

Also maybe your suggestion was ignored because of what I highlighted  |

I just think that a competition between regions would lead to more discussions in each region's forum, more friendship between managers of one region and more banter/rivalries with other regions. If some managers think it's too nerdy and don't follow the competition or don't get involved it'd too bad but we cannot not do something just because not every single manager will enjoy it, else we wouldn't do anything  |

I like the pro-bowl idea. But seems a big deal to code.
Also what I'd lie to see would be a World Cup like in The Other Game. But seems even more difficult to code and something tells me it is not Pete priority. |
