Hello all,
In a first the GOTW network is also showing a second game in what is now dubbed a Super Week, namely: Totoras Patriots vs Deflators. The Deflators sit atop the NC South but with the smallest of margins. But here also there are pretenders to the thrown. The Patriots are seen as by some analysts to be underperforming and the expectation is that it could be a tough game for the Deflators. Stay tuned for more... (EDITORIAL NOTE: due to a public holiday in The Netherlands these interviews will be done last minute so hopefully we can get in touch in time) |

Our GOTW reporter on the road just ran into IMGregory of the Deflators and quickly pinned him down to conduct this interview:
Question 1. You are currently top in the NC North. Does this surprise you or were you confident that you would be in this position come week 10? Well, it does and it doesn't. Our schedule was much easier this season and that always helps. Plus, I feel that the switch to the advanced playbook that I made at the end of last season has unlocked our team's full potential. Still, with how tough our division is, if you told us at the beginning of the season that 10 weeks in we would be atop our division, I'd probably have to call you a liar. Question 2. You dealt a big blow to the Patriots when beating them comprehensively in their house. Another win would be a big win in this very tight division. How important is it for both teams to win you think? Will it already be the end of any title hopes for the loser? In this division, every game matters. We have 4 teams fighting for 3 playoff spots, so someone's gonna have to be the odd man out. It'll probably go right down to the final week of the season. So while a loss certainly will not help the loser, it isn't necessarily the end of the world either. Question 3. What do you think the key deciding factor in this game will be? We've already faced each other once, so the key will probably be who makes the better adjustments from our previous matchup. |
