Hello all and welcome to the weekly football show in RZA where people can still communicate in a pleasant way with each other. Yes, it's good being in Thunder! ;-)

This week we got a clash of titans coming up: SimKonville Fraggles vs Wild Thangs.

Fraggles have been top dog in AC East but Wild Thangs remain in the chase, ready to pounce on any mistake Fraggles will make. Well, this week Wild Thangs can force Fraggles to make that mistake and to make it a one game lead only.

In the corresponding fixture in Week 6 Thangs did just did, in Fraggles' own house no less. So far this has been the only loss by the Fraggles. So all eyes will be on them to see if they will stumble a second time or if revenge will be exacted.

We are now trying to gain access to both closed training grounds to get the view from the inside...

We managed to extract this rather humorous interview:

Question 1. Since you beat Fraggles you lost twice and Fraggles hasn't lost at all. Does this worry you going into this game?
Am I worried? Not at all! Do I expect to get beaten? Most definitely.

Question 2. You recently sold two players for quite a bit of money. Will more players follow them out of the door? And does this mean a change in strategy?
Unfortunately, I thought I had successfully managed my roster going into this season, but I had some very bad timing involving a bye week and ill-timed Fanshop restocking. I sold two of my better players to try to avoid a financial crisis, but I was too late, and also lost my Star QB As far as a change in strategy, I must admit I stopped doing game planning several seasons ago, after my embarrassing season in the Elite League. I am happy to have a "pretty good" team, and hope to make the playoffs each season.

Question 3. What do you think the key deciding factor in this game will be? Whether I lose by 10 or 20 or 30...

Our beat reporter caught SimKon off-guard en-route to the training facility. Over a coffee they conducted this eloquent and thoughtful interview:

Question 1. Let's be honest: it hurt to lose to Wild Thangs right? How much is restoration of divisional bragging rights?

Every loss hurts. Even wins hurt sometimes. I was expecting the game to be close. We just weren't able to close out. We weren't clutch enough.

I'm really not into bragging. Still, our organization definitely is pushing hard for the divisional crowd.
Last time I said I want to see my team showing character. Fraggles and Thangs are in the same boat on that. We are the old generation - and need to show that we still are the teams to beat.

Question 2. Wild Thangs are spending almost spending 33% more than you on player wages. Some pundits see this as a sign that change is a-coming to the AC East and Fraggles will no longer be the powerhouse it used to be. How would you like to respond to these rumours?

This is not about the AC East - this is about Thunder overall. Young teams like the divers or Inbhir Narann are closing in. It'll be real interesting who wins out - the young unproven guys or the old depleted ones. I can tell you one thing - Fraggles are ready!

The wage spending looked quite different at season start. After our loss against the Thangs we let go half a dozen players with high cap numbers. We are healthier than ever now.

Question 3. What do you think the key deciding factor in this game will be?

3rd down performance. In our last encounter our defense wasn't able to get off the field and the offense was just horrendous. We will try to change that.

So there you have it folks. Both managers have had their say and the focus now turns to the players.

Interestingly, both team joined in S03 within 8 days of each other. Both are top-ranked managers in Thunder 1.1 and even though stats tell the story of a Fraggles supremacy, if you look at the 5 games played between these teams it's 3-2 in favour of Wild Thangs.

Regression to the mean would dictate that Fraggles will win but will Wild Thangs upset the natural equilibrium in the RZA world...tune in on Saturday for the answer!

Divers are just lucky in an easy division with an easy schedule . Nothing to see here. Narann on the other hand._.

Well, the Thangs came out on top, but we had to use MOTY, sorry Simkon.
Was a tight field position game, we hit 2 big Passes in the 2nd quarter that made the difference.

Thanks for bringing out the best in my guys when we needed it!
