Last year you had a QB named Luis Medinas who i don't think got sacked once in the league, was he a lot faster than your current QB?
Also you had a FB named Raynard Baldwin, was he a lot better than your now starting FB?

I think Medina was a little bit faster, but my actual FB is comparable to Baldwin. But thats my point does speed for a QB matter more than a solid OL?
Medina was sacked less because is was "only" division 1. There he faced rarely elite pass rusher.

Is speed of the OL the cause? Speed is between 14 and 35 for the starting 5.
I never thought that OL might need DE speed.

It could also be that having a good TE or two might help with your system as you use i-form a lot? I know a lot of people say it doesn't make a difference, but it seems logical to me that with i-form and pro-set the TE would make a difference?
Notorious Pub Gang look like they use a good amount of i-form without getting sacked much, they have some good TE's, FB's and an FB coach, if it's not these factors that make the difference between your two teams sacks i think they might be a good team to look at for comparisons?

I am very interested if it's the speed, this is something i'd not thought about before.

I can recall 2 times where Pete has posted, correcting people, who stated that he said that OL speed did not matter.

He did not say one way or another if the stat matters, but he did make it clear that he has never posted that speed is not taken into account.

totally true, but the way draft OL are built at least led me to that assumption. because why would you give them one less needed skill/physical than their counterparts on the DL. but on the other hand, its the same with AGI for WR and CB, just this time the Defenders have a disadvantage - oh

Edit: But is Speed supported by OL-ACs? never noticed that?

ACs don't support all skills of a certain position, as Draftees do not reflect optimal players

But did you ever say that DTs can sack the QB?

I cannot remember, but one thing is for sure: QB cannot use punting when throwing passes...
