Hello all and welcome baaaaaaack to another season of the best game on this planet. It's about to start again, and because we're soooo eager for this to get started we've already started the preview right smack in the middle of pre-season
The first week starts with a cracker right of the bat: Die Verdammten @ M. Divers. The Divers return to Thunder 1.1 after one season in Elite, where they managed to get to the CoC cup final. A very impressive feat but it won't count for nothing when the Verdammten steam roller rolls into the town. This game will show where both teams are at but the most pressure probably lies in the Divers as everyone will expect them to repeat their unbeaten season in season 21. What do y'all think about this? Who do you expect to win? |

Question 1. First of all, welcome back in Thunder 1.1! It seems this game will turn out to a litmus test straight out of the gate for you. Do you agree? Glad to be back. Yes, the division and schedule will test our ability to rebuild fast. We had 5 stars retire this past season so we have some holes that we have to disguise. Getting a former Elite team out of the gate will test how much work will be needed to compete for the playoffs this season. Question 2. Last season your team had a much discussed identity crisis. Now you are back in a recognisable name. Can fans relax now and not be afraid of another renaming this season? I haven't seen the things in Thunder that go on in Elite which is where I got the inspiration to change the name but never say never. Our fan base enjoyed proving the naysayers wrong on our O-line philosophy as well as showing we weren't ashamed of any label they wanted to give. Now this question reminds me of how much i miss Buddy. Hmmm would "Buddy come back" be a good team name? Question 3. What do you think the key deciding factor in this game will be?
