50% is absolutely acceptable.

In the NFL there is only free agency or trades. This way a lot of TM income potential is gone and we are forced to manage our rosters more carefully which is cool. (and realistic)

pete could have made any monies above the 5 week contract cut value subject to confiscation essentially making all players on TM free agents.

Teams i look at the top 100 only one team made a billion. next team is 500m. I am sure that was not done in one year.
