bemused somewhat....we beat the Vikings twice up to yesterday....I play my MOTY on him to (apparently) lock down the win and ensure I get a 1 or 2 seed.....and I lose a close one, with him just playing normal.
No issues with the result in isolation - well done and congrats on making the playoffs (what the Puppy Soldiers were doing I don't know) but it seems MOTY has worked against me in this instance...or, I was actually hammered and MOTY has made it more respectable that it was. Strange - but we have little momentum now for the playoffs. Good luck to everyone else - and ill likely see vamosahi next Saturday! |

In my own experience MOTY doesn't do much besides drain your teams PC

It does give you more experience, which is the main reason I still try to use it. I mostly try to do it when I have time to recover (bot games following). This last one I screwed up, and forgot to bolster the rookie squad. My starting QB is on the rookie squad. 80 PC after the game, LOL. Hard to recover that.

yeah, I figured I would have 2 updates before my next meaningful game - so I didn't have much to lose by using MOTY and I hoped it would secure the W. In the end it wasn't needed, but it did bemuse me nonetheless.

Hm, PlayOffs here we come. We are the clear underdog becaus we have get that spot against, I think, a second team from the Ghosts.
But we take the experience and the money this extra postseason game brings us. Let the party get started  |

I didn't use MOTY because I knew I would be playing a wild card game in a few days and didn't want to absorb the drain. I was surprised when i saw the Electric had used it. I am also glad he got the second seed. I certainly didn't want to play him 3 games in a row. Good luck to all who made the playoffs.

For you to make the wild card you needed : to beat me and the Dog Soldiers to lose to a 4-11 team I cant deny they all happened, but you cant have been that confident enough to not play MOTY against me (I had beaten you twice before that after all) and surely cant have expected DDS to lose to the Badgers (no disrespect Mr Badger). as said....im just more bemused than actually bothered. My objective was achieved and whomever makes the WC Playoffs deserves to be there - good luck to you and look forward to doing battle with you again. |

Good playoff to all who got there.
The regular season was quite a bumpy road but I'm happy to secure at the end a playoff spot.
My wildcard will be against Bobboy Magpies, a team that beat me badly last time we met, so I hope that this time the result will be different. |
