Welcome loyal readers to week 6 of season 25. Thunder 1.1 has seen it's fair share of old teams retiring and a subsequent influx of new whippersnappers to take their place.
This week it's one of those old meets new clashes that write their own stories really. This will be Totoras Patriots' 20th season in Thunder 1.1 while Osler Rebels are currently in their second season. Already Osler Rebels upstaged the Patriots in their first season and they are looking to do it again. This game has all the hallmarks already of an instant classic. |

We met a philosophical JonathanRiver of the well-respected Totoras Patriots and he gave this food for thought:
Question 1. You are a longstanding member of Thunder 1.1 and well respected for it. However the NC South has become a murderous division and you had a very rough start to the season. Now Osler Rebels are snapping at your heels as well there is very real possibility you could end last in the division. It seems that this is must win game for the Patriots. Do you agree? Every division game is important, but I agree with what you say. It's an important game not to be the last division. Question 2. Your run game is not performing well with two rushers even posting negative yards this season. Are there plans to fix this and if so, what are those? The goal is to be more competitive and to have the opportunity to score points. My offensive line is not helping in the rush game. I'm testing other formations and modifying the style of some players to try to get more yards per carry. Question 3. Give me a stat about your team that you think will matter this season? The percentage of complete passes. It should be 60%. Question 4. What do you think will be the deciding factor in this game? My ability to move the ball offensive. |
