From my experience, many teams that employ this style of play are generally lazy and fairly easy to scout. Versus a good defensive set-up, SG4 could turn disastrous. The engine checking for lopsided tactics also is a negative to this approach.

Why?


Because if I scout someone and know SG4 pass is coming I have the players with skills in the correct positions and defensive formation to turn it into a sack/interception fest. I've upset teams with more skill than I had overall in the past because they had an SG4 pass heavy offense.

Really any offense without balance is inferior to one with balance if you are willing to scout and construct your team to employ different tactics flexibly.

1 and 10 to go on 50, Amir Haddad (OC) snaps the ball to Jorge Hildebrand (QB), Jorge Hildebrand (QB) selected Emanuel Stancu (TE/R) as target, Carlos Curley (MLB) seems to go for the blitz, he passes inner right for 11 yards to him, intercepted by Carlos Curley (MLB) on the opp 39 (I-formation vs. 3-4-4)

How it is possible , while MLB is making blitz at the same time he is making interception when he is at 11 yard away from spot of football.

I think it is the insert of the word "seems" as though he has initially gone to the line of scrimmage to blitz, but when the ball is snapped he actually drops back to coverage.

I'm not too worried - Eiskomittee came here, had some nice sucess really fast and then priorities in RL changed. I think he just logged in for some time now to provide some stability but maybe it was now the best to quite as he maybe could qualify for the PO without any intention to give his best.

But actually I'm a big profiteer (does this word really exist??) as I got a free game next saturday. And that's maybe needs to be changed as you see also in the ongoing discussions/suggestions.

It's a normal cycle for either RL changes or a loss of interest means people leave the game. These things have nothing to do with value of the game and it's long term success. For example Wisengrund had a child and his life and time priorities changed so he left.

The fact that a substantial % of players stay for years shows the game is healthy.

You're absolutely right. But we could talk about a bit a Rookie Problem here with Thunder. It's just too easy to come up to 1.1. on my mind.
