1. Completing your stadium asap is not mathematically the ideal strategy for new owners. I have actually PM'd the math on this to Matheisman some time ago and he could not find fault with my math though he did advise not to make it public.

2. The mob mentality for naming and shaming people for their advice, right or wrong, is childish and unproductive. Putting people down is a tool that insecure people use to prop themselves up. Lowering someone else raises oneself in their mind's eye the same way bragging does. Feel pity for people this insecure.

3. There are many ways to build your team. You have draft, YA, and TM. I find that the majority of the best teams have skill in all 3 areas though some have forsaken 1-2 of the 3 team building areas and been successful. My simple philosophy is that if I ignore an area then I can't outplay my opponents in the area so I use and try to improve them all but then I am a simple math/game theory guy and not part of the "group think".

Meitheisman has done it to me on multiple occasions, so I consider it completely fair game to point out his.

Don't dish out what you don't want coming back in return. Good rule to live by.

Also, just for educational purposes, that is not the correct definition of trolling. I wouldn't want folks to start using the term wrong just because an "English teacher" gave them the wrong definition.

You and big "M" can get a room.

As for this quote it is mathematically wrong. Maxing your stadium as quickly as possible is not correct for maxing income for new managers. Old timers recite this as best strategy when really it should be labelled as easiest strategy.

You should retract your statement.

Tell you what Rock. If you agree to not share the math or strategy and once you see that it gives new managers more money than "completing your stadium asap" you come on here and admit that you and group think are wrong on this then I will PM the math and strategy to you.

Do you accept the terms of this challenge?

Sure. I'd love to see the math. In fact, I am not as skeptical as you may think. If you can prove it to me, I'd be happy to reverse my opinion, although I suspect it will still be the safest advice for most newbies.

BTW, personally I've advised people to have fun and spend sparingly on the TM while building their stadium. Just because its more fun. But I have generally just accepted the common belief that the stadium should be a priority.

Clever. But definitely requires some foresight and planning. And knowledge of a specific rule I certainly had no knowledge of. It is unlikely that many newbies would stumble onto that strategy, but it does appear to be a method to better maximize profits.

I make the same deal with you as I did Rock. After you can't disprove my math post here that "fishing your stadium ASAP" in not the best method to generate income and don't share publicly.
