The editor received answers a long time but only now found time to publish them
To start with an interview with legend Bovakian: Question 1. We've always wondered: how do you say Inbhir Narann phonetically? Good one Cheesey, I'm English and just thought using the local gaelic spelling for my new home would be nice. Though from what I have worked out Inbhir (Inver) Narann (Nahran) basic translation is "by the Nairn" the name of the river the town has been named after. Question 2. As an experienced player give us your philosophy about coaches and which ones any team should have in your opinion. My main aim is to have consistent coaches and hopefully get them at a relatively young age so I don't have to replace them very often. The choice of which coaches to have is an individual choice, I personally cover as many bases as possible, but those that run a lot of Shotgun formations will use a Fullback coach rather than a Running Back coach. Question 3. What do you think will be the deciding factor in this game? Two things - winning the turnover battle and scoring more points than them. Question 4. The NC South is crazy competitive right now. Dare to make predictions about the final standings? If we win it then we have been very very lucky, personally I'd favour Basterds. Question 5. What was your best buy on the Transfer Market ever? One that Wolfling now knows well Cetin Hildebrand a Linebacker I picked up for 1.4M in Season 17 and got 7 very productive seasons out of before selling him to Wolfling for over 5M. He had a 93% tackle rating 23 sacks, 96 interceptions, 9 Fumble recoveries and 64 defensive TD's during his time with me and I see he is doing well with Wolfling. Question 6. What NFL team do you support in real life and why? Browns .. first match I saw was Brown v Pats in 1977 and Browns won in OT, but main reason is I'm originally from the ancient county of Cleveland in England eventhough they named the city after some President they had and not after the area I come from. |

And belatedly the interview with krugodam (apologies!):
Question 1. You got wooped by the Whalers last but then turn it around by beating the Golden Taints in the SC. Football can be a funny game eh. As a coach how do you deal with a week like this? For the Whalers loss at this stage I'll take as just an off performance. This game will be the test if we are contenders or pretenders. Question 2. Your QBs have been intercepted 17 times this season. Is this a reason for concern for you? Sure is, I made some adjustments to the playbook and interceptions seem to have gone down since the changes were made a few games back. Hopefully that will continue. Question 3. What do you think will be the deciding factor in this game? Turnovers. I will need turnovers to win this game Question 4. What was your best buy on the Transfer Market ever? My WR Mahidol. Bought for $138755 and gets me about 2000 receiving yards a season. Question 5. oakbark famously changed the name of his team and got promptly promoted to Elite. See any similarities in your and oakbark's situation? I hope not because if somehow I got promoted to Elite next season my team would get smashed every single game! Question 6. What NFL team do you support in real life and why? 49ers unfortunately, mainly because that's the team I used in franchise mode when I played Madden about 10 years ago. |

Close game until the end. Now I've reduced QB Int's, my RB's have got a case of the fumbles - 3 in this game and 4 in my last supercup game. Managed to hang on thanks to the defence.
