I don't see any reason why he wouldn't remain injured. I've certainly seen injured players on the TM before.

Caveat emptor?

@Adventure

I recommend not to struggle too long with bad feelings. RZA is hard competitive business where weakness will be penalised by your opponents (so by everyone) immediately; the transfermarket, in particular, is like a Saloon full of doubtful characters, so dont mind, you're in good company, hehe

@veterans

Regarding "out of position" penalty the manual says:

"3.) There is no penalty when playing a player as Gunner, Kick returner, Special Team Blocker or Special Team Tackler,
no matter what his original position will be"

Is there an OOP penalty playing a Gunner/Kick Returner vice versa as CB/SF/LB/RB/TE etc.?

And, will a RB benefit from ST Coach when playing him as KR?

Yes, there will be an OOP penalty if you play a gunner or KR somewhere else. Which is why most people don't use them.

Your RB playing KR will be effected in game by a special teams coach, but his training will only be effected by the RB coach.

I don't think so. I think the AC bonus is given to players based on their roster position, not their depth chart position.
Whether a KR-RB carry over his AC-bonus/malus given by a RB-coach is also not clear.
It's not really clear in the manual to be honest.

You don't think kick returns are effected by the quality of your Special Teams coach if a RB is the KR?

Pete confirmed: It is always the coach for the players assigned position. So if you use a RB for a KR, his on field performance is effected only by the RB coach. And your blockers will also only be effected by their relevant coaches. Special Teams coaches don't have any effect on returns unless you specifically make a guy a KR.

EDIT: Pete corrected ^- ignore all of that above

Can you link the post of that?

EDIT: Never mind, did find the discussion in the other forum.

So that means it's never depth chart.
Interesting.

Stop, my mistake due some poor namespaces in the engine. During play it is different, and the Coach that is responsible for the squad on field is responsible. So if you play your RB to be KR on the field, the basics of the RB are determined by his position coach RB, but the execution field is incluenced by the ST coach...

This one I did not confirm.

No i presume the designated kicker/punter and positional players who are Gunners would be affected. Are we to assume that by this logic though the SBL and STT and Gunners playing under another position coach are not affected by ST coach......

Does the ST coach offer any boost to any non P/k/KR or G in any way?
