I need a confirmation about my understanding.
Suppose that the list below is a DC selection of players for a given position with two players allowed on the field (es. OLB in a 4-3-4 defense) Player A Player B (marked first string) Player C and suppose that I've chosen a threshold for substitutions at 90% of PC. I understand that Player B will be on the field 100% of plays (except if he is suffering from any in-game injury of course) He will play as OLB/Left position when Player A is above 90% of PC He will play as OLB/Right when Player A is resting (below 90% of PC) and Player C is sent on the field to play as OLB/Left Am I right? If I'm wrong, what does it happen in the example above? Last edited on 2018-02-08 14:30:24 by Yashin |

My recollection is the checkmarked player is always choosen first so he ends up playing ROLB the first spot on depth chart every play.

Agree with above answer.. I puzzled over the same issue once.
Heres from the manual: "If you tick the "first string player" tick-box, this player will be preferred by the engine, no matter what else you set for substitutions in your depth chart or match-settings. If more than one player has the settings active, the engine will pick the first-string player having the highest in-game energy. The only chance for a substitution by using non-first-stringers is then if the first-string-players gets injured." plus this: "Pickorder of the engine (4-3-4) :der del dtr dtl mlb olbr olbl cbr cbl ssr fsl" Last edited on 2018-02-09 04:16:53 by ashlee |
