Players available in the youth pull
Age 16: Average sum of SPE+STR+AGI more or less between 50 and 60 sometimes more than 65
This sum slightly increase with age...
Age 20 Average sum of SPE+STR+AGI more or less between 75 and 85 sometimes more than 85
The gap is about 25 point, do you agree?
With the new math without using extra training point with YA Premium a player gain about 20 point per season.
I do not know how many point a player gains with lower level of YA.
Sorry for asking ... but why somebody should choose a player older than 17?

True, there can only be Special cases you would like to s e l e c t an older Player.
1) there is no other. You could still get a very good Player with 18+ and with increase Speed of Training, he could still be developed fast.

2) you Need a specific Profil and physicals are not that important, because of the Training Speed. But that can only be relevant for specific TW amounts, since INT and other skills are not visible.

I do only pick 16 year old since 2 Seasons, 17 year old only if no other available, most of the time they get then fired.
18+ year olds also only if no other available, so far 100% were fired.

Thanks for the feedback.
About hidden skill I noticed that the average value are between 9 and 13... 15 if you are lucky. (special traits are welcome!)
So if we are talking about a player that need 3 skills + agility we are starting from a minimum of 9*4 = 36 and a maximum of 15*4 = 60 points so a gap of 24 points.
That means a season and something more of regular training.
In the end for a 16yo you have about 80/100 points to spread between skills in 4 season and something RZA weeks he will stay in your YA
If you are lucky you can choose a 18yo with +20 physical starting points and + 20 hidden starting skill points obtaining more or less the same result.... (TW apart of course)
So despite we have a pull of 7 players per RZA weeks the useful ones between choose are 1 or 2 maybe sometimes 3 ...

I have heard one good manager say that older YA players come with higher intelligence. Do Not Know if this is true. But it would be a reason to choose an older YA prospect

That's just a matter of priorities.
A 16 year old trained over 4+ Seasons does simply get MUCH more Training than any 20 year old YA pul can get until he gets promoted.

So, sure if you have a physical Monster you might say, I will Train him, eventually by time or by ya.points into a great Player, and other do see the same Player and say, that he will never get the results he could have had, if he would have been there at age of 16.

Yes, the 16 year old pulls are always a gamble, but out of 24 pulls you get usually some good ones.
