I think it would be a fun feature to allow players to buy a supporter's account for others. For friendship, competition; or even motivation as a manager may be more inclined to play often with the additional features.
We already have Friendly Cups which cost credits, maybe a manager would be inclined to gift another alongside winning the cup. If a manager gets a gift; they may also be more inclined to renew the account after having a positive experience. The cost of the account is also fairly negligible in regards to price; this also is best for Pete.      €€€$$$£££
