All right, i did my job. Although my wages grew up to 300k from 200k (i know, newbie here
) i'm quite satisfied from savings.
I still have a question, though. Manual says you can negotiate up to 5 franchise contracts. This means 5 for season or it means you can't have more than 5 franchise at the same time? So, If i signed up 5 franchise contracts now, i have 5 more available next season or i can't do others until the actual 5 expire or i get rid of one or more franchised players? Thanks. |

The second option: you can only have 5 active franchise contracts. It does not matter in which season they were signed. In the HR department you have a column that tells you which players have an active franchise contract. When negotiating a new contract, if you already have 5 franchise contracts, the franchise contract option is not available. Therefore, there is no possibility of error (signing more than 5 contracts). |

Right. And please be aware that those contract should not be treated as loyalty contract as in "that guy deserves it". It should be treated as longterm-saving option.
That mean, identify players who are not at the level you want them to be, but close, and lock them up for several seasons for a cheaper wage than they would have with 1+ or 2+ contract in that time period. |

Thank you guys. To be honest, still there's not a particular reason to sign a franchise. I signed up those for 2 players, mainly because they are good in roles when you have few skills to grow, so I can push them hard and get rid of them at the end, when i'll have batter players to grow.
Let's say it's a kind of experiment. At my wage levels i still can do sono kind of trial and error |
