At the Quarter pole with most teams having played 4 games. If the playoffs started today this is how it would look. (W-L) PD

A sold out Hillsborough boo the team from the field Game 2 - Lost 42-23 @ Bergen Bruisers. First ever win for Bergen in 11 attempts Game 3 - WON 59-10 v Versaille Victors. Depth chart changes seem to pay off. Knights only just beat them this week Game 4 - WON 55-21 v Wrexham Exiles. Bit of a shock result. Score probably doesnt tell the full story. Good win to get us back on track though Game 5 - WON 91-10 v Copenhagen Chargers. No joy taken in demolishing the once powerful Chargers - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ----------------------- Now the real tests begin - have we done enough in the playbook and depth chart to push on through i very tough run of games Game 6 - Michigan Weasels - They will always be Weasel Traders to me. Wednesday have won just 1 of last 5. Will be a test of whether we really have a chance this season. Expected LOSS Game 7 - @Minnesota Silver Foxes - Wednesday have won 5/5 in the last 4 seasons. But The Foxes look a little meaner this season. Im expecting to win this but i reckon it could be close. Expected WIN Game 8 - @Downriver Seals - Not expected any difficulties swimming down the river. Wednesday lead the series 8-0. Expected WIN Game 9 - Bergen Bruisers - The SDMOTW guaranteed. This might be for all the beans. What is clear is with 2 incredibly difficult games on the road to follow, Wednesday have to win this game. After Game 2 that looks unlikely. Expected 50/50 Game 10 - @Michip Corsairs - Wednesday have never won in Canada. They wont this season either. Expected LOSS Game 11 - @ Konjarnik High Towers - Although Wednesday have won ALL of the last 10 meetings, we have absolutely no chance in this one. NEXT! Expected LOSS Game 12 - Downriver Seals - Wednesday will return to Hillsborough battered and bruised. If ever there was a time for Seals to win this is it. Still... Expected WIN Game 13 - @ Derbent Convicts - A first ever game against Social Distance murdering Convicts is a tough one to call. This could be a massive game for us but i dont see us getting the Win. Im giving this to the Convicts. Expected LOSS Game 14 - Hamburg Sea Lions - It doesnt get much easier for Wednesday as the Lions visit Sheffield. Three times these have met in the last three seasons, including a 28-20 Divisional loss. Three defeats in 3 seasons doesnt inspire confidence - Expected LOSS Game 15 - Minnesota Minotaurs - The Taurs have had a difficult start to season 63, but do have a great Hamsters win to celebrate. Wednesdays morale might be depleted by this point, but id still expect a win. A loss may result in a riot at Hillsborough by this point. Hopefully the boys get it done. Three wins in 3 seasons for Wednesday in this match up. Expected WIN Game 16 - @ Copenhagen Chargers - Expected WIN Expectations - At best 9-7. At worst 6-10. I predict absolutely no chance of the playoffs this season. Even if we beat Bergen i suspect they will be 9-7 AT WORST and 12-4 at best. They will expect to win ALL their last 6 games. It could be that we rest after this season. My aim was to challenge for Elite in S63 but ive made too many errors in terms of training and such and i may sell the big earners and go dormant for a few seasons. We will see. |
