I am a new manager and have a problem on where to play a player. The player is rated at 2 and half at cornerback and has higher speed for my team. the problem comes from his special ability being able to pass block. His speed is higher then his strength but other skills are all around 11 or 12. Need help with deciding where to put him.

If a player has good speed it is easy for him to have 2,5* at Playerrating for CB.
Because of his Special trait I would train him as TE, but you can let him play as CB until the day his position will get fixed. |

Connie Kennedy
I thought TE would be better but wouldn't that mean that the special trait has less of an impact? Cause he would be going out for passes most of the time. |

I would put him at FB. This way you profit from his special ability, and as they tend to be used as ball carriers in some formations, good speed also is quite useful.
In the beta-version it worked pretty well for me. Just had a look at his player stats. Without knowing the other players from your roster, I would say, you got a pretty good FB in that player. He's young, highly talented, and has the skill set for that position. Strength could be higher but that comes with training. Last edited on 2011-11-13 05:29:25 by TombKing |
