btw, has anyone signed one of his draftees to a franchise contract?

I couldn't get it done in the first 4 negotiation offers, panicked, and managed to sign them to 2 or 3 year contracts. Seemed to me the franchise contracts are a lot higher per/season than a 2 or 3 year contract.
