Hi there,

Does anyone have any suggestions about a framework for a Rookie cup?

My concept is something that encourages Rookies to try out a knock out format, without either experiencing being blown away by better teams (with older teams that just have more talent) or better and more sophisticated playbooks (in the parity version of a cup that sets all skill levels to the same place and relies on the quality of playcalling).

I've seen elsewhere the idea of trying to encourage more new coaches, and thought this might contribute.

I was thinking that there should be a criteria that you can only enter if (i) you've never entered a cup before (ii) it is your first season, and maybe some more constraints.

Thoughts most welcome!
