All my new British players (and all my existing players) have Polish names.
Is this some kind of political statement about the continued expansion and economic conditions of the EU, or is it a bug? |

At least the "political statement" is not true. Should I rename your complete roster? But it is a question of luck, even the UK name database contains some emigrant names, as in real life. Another question: did you player "change" their name or do I misunderstand here? |

Another question: did you player "change" their name or do I misunderstand here? The player did not change their name, they have just in the main come through with Germanic or Eastern European sounding surnames (apologies to those of you who know what you're talking about and realise these names are all Finnish or something). I didn't notice at first but on scanning through I've had the following (most recent at the top). I'm not worried about the player names (no need for changes etc.) I just suddenly noticed the trend and wondered if the database linked the names you get on your team to the nation you choose and sort of weighted them or something. Altiparmakowski Saveljic Funderburk Navratnil Mckenzie Taus Carrier On reflection I was expecting a few more Smiths, Jones, Atkins. . . Thatchers () |

I found a small bug in the country selection function - which I fixed already. It seems this was the outcome of this bug

It made me think actually, a nice Stadium 'build' would food stands. Then I'd insist on hiring Polish staff for the kielbasa and maybe some half-time borscht on a winter night with a late kick off(we grow a lot of beetroots in our garden). |
