The engine picks in this order: LB wanted 1.) check DC...found? no? next step 2.) check roster for same position...found? no? next step 3.) pick random in none of those steps the best one gets picked, because the engine doesn't know your criteria, and therefore can't pick "the best" Thank you for clearifying. (In terms of "best player" on DC: I supposed the sequence of players in DC determines which is better.) So as I understand the selection procedure: at every snap the DL line is selected first. So if there is an ingame injury at DL it may jump to #3-random pick, which may s e l e c t MLB1 and put it in DL, and then leave MLB position to be filled by a much weaker player from MLB DC. If this is how it works, we must be alert. This is a tough algorithm. |

Janos - 4 DL might be a bit thin. It may be better to add at least one more DL because unless you only play 3-4-4 and 3-3-5 on defense your 4 DLs will tire and you may see more substitutions like this. If this is how it works, we must be alert. This is a tough algorithm. |

I am just pointing out btw, that the algorithm can be dangerous. |
