And for my next stupid rookie question - I've just joined (this morning) and the YP is supposed to happen at 5pm today. . . I think. But when I go and check, there are no new players available. Have I misunderstand YP, or is 5pm not 5pm, or. . . what. . .?

To your question: The bus driver of the bus with the school boys did not know today your team yet. But on Wednesday it has it on the plan. Then it will hold and 2 school boys off will set. Then you can invite one into your team.
