i wouldn't say it was an automatic bid system, but it aids those managers who cannot sit up by a computer waiting until the transfer deadline.

If i was to bid for your punter, and set my agent to a max of $10,000, all that happens is my agent acts as me when im not online, and will better all bids by the required ammount until it goes over the $10,000.

The whole thing about teams with lots of money is going to have an effect on the transfer market anyway, regardless of agents.

As long i got the problem that i need sleep and got to work i am not able to sit at my computer till 3 am to get a guy

I could bid 30 Mio.$ on a player and have nothing to do until the end of the bid and many manager would have no chance to get this player. There are advantages and disadvantages of every system.

i know and thats my problem with both systems, can´t find a solution,
thats the problem you got with so many timezones, different starting times in the game (old managers new ones) and so on.

So we are back at the standard problem transfermarket yes or no

i do not see that we need to change the transfer system (let say i see player worth 20mil) and i can´t be online when the deadline is then i start right a way to raise the player price until it get to 10 mil then the last time i can´t be online then i bid my 20 mil
only different i see for people to change the system is so they can save money
EDIT: typo

I agree with looser, if you can't be online at the end of a bid, why not just bid your maximum when you can? And if someone bids higher then it doesn't really matter if you're online or not, you lose either way.

And different timezones will always be an issue on the TM. The only sollution I see is to run like 3 TMs simultaneously for european, asian and american managers, with the same ammount of players on the market.

So far any suggestion made for the TM was either too complicated especially for new managers to understand, or could be expoilted. So I think there shouldn't be any changes made. Not for a couple more seasons at least...

i tried ptting in my max bid and i get a warning that the bid can only 150% of the present bid. therfore i cannot put in my "max" bid.

It 50% not 150% max on previous bids

So if the bid is 20,000 The next highest bid can only be 10,000 more.So 30,000.
I do think we need to increase the 50% maximum to 100% so bids can double ever time making bid war go by a lot faster

No. This is part of the anti cheating protocol.

OK I don't know how that would prevent cheating but I'll go with it.

easy: 3 clubs to transfer money between them. They want to transfer money. Today the have to make little steps to raise the bid to a value that makes sense. with a change for a higher start fee, or a higher percentage on raising, they would need less actions. The Anti Cheating Framework is measuring how many bids by how many teams are on a bid, and is trying to determine suspicious actions.
