Maybe this is my ignorance as an American, but why are there players from England and Scotland, but also Great Britain?

I understand how soccer has separate FA for England, Wales, Scotland and N. Ireland - - but then there are no British players.

Likewise, in the Olympics, there is only a team from U.K.? right?

True! But some Members from Great Britain don't consider themselves as British but more as Scottish or English. The years of fighting kept the rivalries on... And it's especially true in Sport! (I assume that most of the GB teams in here are English )

And if you add Northern Ireland, you're not speaking of Great Britain but of United Kingdom!!!

If the Scotthish wanted to be a nation they should have won the battle of Cullloden.

Now serious, I want to apologize if some proud Scottish feel ofended by my previous comment (this was a wargamer joke).
Actually, Great Britain (talking about sports) its not a whole nation. They have national teams for the 4 countries that make the nation (sorry, i´m not english native speaker and can´t explain better), England, Wales , North Ireland and Scotland.

But for you the inhabitants of the colonies (another wargamer joke, no offense) the criteria to make the rugby national teams it´s weirder, because North Ireland dissapears because there is only the Team of Ireland. Maybe i´m wrong but players of both Irelands play together in the same team, no matter they are from different countries, from a strictly politic point of view (from a rugby point of view, both of them want to kick the red rose team butt).

tl: dr: beers for Sottish and Irish guys

Not to forget, the scottish - at least parts of them - are preparing the split from UK/GB...

However, to answer the question: players get generated under the nationality of their teams, and as long as there are temas both from england and uk as example, we will generate players with both nationalities

A bad day for scots if that happens, but that's not for this post

I think its cool how RZA represent the individual countries that make up the UK.

IMO: Why not.

Just raise a suggestion - and we will see how the majority thinks about it
