I've done some searching but haven't been able to find a completely clear answer to my question about the skill colors for players. There is a chance I just haven't been able to find the right thread so if anyone has a link I would greatly appreciate it.
I know that there are caps that can be reached for player skills but even that isn't totally clear to me. Player skills can be black, blue, green, yellow (or orange perhaps but I'll call it yellow), or red. Sometimes there is an exclamation mark next to a skill as well. The exclamation mark means the player has reached their maximum for that skill if I am not mistaken, and that skill is sometimes in red but not always from what I have seen. I also have many players with lower skill ratings also in red like 21.0 strength but with no exclamation mark next to it. What is the difference between a red skill with an exclamation mark and a red skill without? Also, what do the black, blue, green, and yellow colors mean? As a further example, here are the stats with the colors from a LB that I drafted in the last offseason: Morale 72.0 % - yellow Intelligence 50.0 - green Strength 43.3 - green with red exclamation mark - The skill hit the cap already Speed 45.4 - green with red exclamation mark - The skill hit the cap already Agility 8.1 - black Physical condition 78.0 % - yellow Positioning 27.3 - red Vision 25.8 - red Tackling 22.7 - red Blocking 9.6 - black Carrying 8.8 - black Catching 11.3 - blue Kicking 9.3 - black Punting 8.6 - black Footwork 8.6 - black Passing 13.5 - blue Teamwork 36.7 - yellow Team chemistry 85.0 % - green Could anyone explain the entire color system with this player as an example? Or link me to a thread I probably just couldn't find? I tried searching the FAQs, forums, and manual but couldn't seem to find a 100% clear cut explanation of the skill colors and their meanings. black 0 - 9.999

Thanks in advance for any help! you know about this yellow and red mark Yellow = Near his cap Red = cap other color skill means nothing 0-10 Black 11-20 Blue 21-30 red 31-40 orange 41-50 green and for PC TC and moral (same means nothing) 0-20 Black 21-40 blue 41-60 red 61-80 orange 81-100 green |

Ah ok, so the colors just help indicate between poor ratings and good ratings. Simple enough. I just assumed that the colors had another meaning. Its really just the exclamation marks that we need to look out for then. Thanks a lot!
