Thanks, Ive looked briefly but will look in greater detail at the thread

For me, and from what other people have said its not that passing is ineffective (Many managers, including myself, are getting good passing yards most games) but its how these yards are made up that is the problem:

Basically, as you know, you cant pass for more than roughly 10 yards without it going for a TD, so teams that have good passing stats / yardage get these mainly from passes (like Bombs) going for TDs.

Whereas ideally, you should be able to throw 10+ for any amount without TD - I'm going over old ground, sorry.

So yes, in a nutshell, managers can pass effectively, but its how these yards are made up that is the problem. But if you are looking into this you probably already know this

I think that changes should be gradual. Allways room for improvement but many changes might end up distorting the game o totally useless to the previous strategy, what would be frustrating.
For me, the first changes i´d like to see would be the complete functions for every position (by example, RB receive).

I wrote about height and weight - but some agressive people wrote about how I do not understand the training process and vote to reduce the rating.
I wrote about passing - but same agressive people wrote about "wait grasshopper", "this is the part of gameplay you have to develop players". e.t.c.
Turtlemania wrote about big inflation - and same agressive people posts this but after 113113113 transfer they are posts
Few days earlier I wrote about super-wages for punters and kikers - but I have same results from the same people. Including story about super-QB with low vision, and P with very high vision.

Transfermarket: a lot of suggestion not one has shown an improvement
High and Weight - nothing against you but as long as we don´t have catching rb or rwturns of more than 20 yards i don´t see that its time to change something here
Passing: i think i wrote that something is done with the engine
Player wages everybody knows how the wages are developing so thinking about how to develop your players will help, but of course ther should be something done in the future

Transfermarket - inflation is a fact.
Height and weight - you slill can't to know who is will your player WR or OG.
Wages - bigest wages for K an P super-realistic!
e.t.c.

So again. This game is following the direction at the expense of realism.

And this is true.

Sure not everything that could be implemented is implemented right now, but what is the highest priority to be implemented?

Sure High and Weight would be intersting but how to do it on a running system? Give the Players you got random high and weight, maybe that would be funny

Transfermarket yes there is to much money around atm but as i wrote i haven´t read any suggestion how the transfermarket"problem" could be solved that has other downsides. And maybe just maybe in 2 or 3 seasons people need their money to pay their own players so the amounts of money infested in the transfemarket will decrease.

And yes you are right on the developing of the wages, but how to work against it? have an Factor on Wages for the diverent Positions but then you need to know which hand your Qb is trowing with cause your blindsidetackle will get paid higher ...

As long as Screenpasses, directional punting, Kickreturning, Receiving for RB an other things are not implemented this game has other things that should be took care about.
And on the other Hand it´s not RL its a SIMULATION so you have to take the fact that is not perfect, you got to life with the "deficides" or you got to find yourselfe a better game, good luck i haven´t found one...

I made a decision for myself on this thread: To keep it readable I will remove all offtopic comments. If the whole post of an user is offtopic, I will remove the post itself. You might call it censorship, I am fine with.

I just want to keep it readable, and had too many complaints about that posting style some are using.

From the rules: "Attacking of other managers and the administration of the game will not be tolerated in the forum. Any complaints can be addressed to the administrators through private messaging. Failure to follow this policy can result in a penalty, including permanent banning for repeat offenses."

So if you felt attact, than it was your right to censor some parts. There are rules which the members has to follow.

EDIT: This is also offtopic and you can delete it if you want
