Hi all, I only signed up a few days ago, am not American, and have little knowledge of what I am doing.

One issue that does concern me is the draft. As a new manager I have had only a couple of training periods to use my scout and will not be able to scout all available draftees prior to that event.

Not having the same opportunity to scout all players, the same as anyone else, simply becasue of the time I signed up is a disadvantage I don't really need.

I undertand that if I signed up a week later, I wouldn't even be able to draft any players, but that is another issue.

Would it be possible to give new managers an unlimited number of scouting missions for their first two training periods to help overcome this issue?

Rookie managers have a tough enough learning curve as it is. This would help make it just a little easier.

This won't be possible, I am afraid.

Just don't worry about the first draft, get what you can get out of it. Each single guy on the board will be much better than the s*ckers you got when signing for a new team. Just sort the Draft board by "Rating desc" as example, and move all Special Team position to the bottom afterwards. You have got players on the top then, and don't waste scout reports. By this, you can invest more money in the stadium, this will help you short and long term. Hope this helps

I would sort the draftboard with the best ratings on top, as Pete said, and than put the positions with the high impact at the highest positions. For me it was important to have a good RB and good LB or DL.
