In my last game Yu Thà caused a forced fumble against Jedi Knights. However in the player stats fumbles (caused) it is 0. Surely this should display (1).

He forced a fumble but did not caused a fumble :-)
Causing a fumble means in the player's stats that the player dropped the ball, not that he forced an opponent to drop the ball so everything seems to be correct here. |

I guess there is a problem with the english here a little...
'Forced' is close in meaning to 'caused'..... I agree with the OP in a sense, as if you 'cause' a fumble, the natural english meaning is to believe that you are the defensive player causing the ball to come out. |

Any suggestions how this could be make more clear?
Maybe remain the 'Forced fumbles' for the event when a player is responsible for an opponent to drop the ball and simply say 'Fumbles' (remove the 'Caused') for the event a player dropped the ball? Would that make more sense? Any other ideas by any English native-speakers?  |

As I've said before in other fumble stat threads.... for offensive players, the 2 recorded stats tend to be:
Fumbles - how many times the player fumbled the ball Fumbles Lost - how many times the opposition recover the ball |
