This is an idea designed to fill the gap between 'Power Mode' and 'Normal Mode'.
From what I can see, the vast majority of Friendly Cups use 'Normal Mode' ... i.e. they're just basic games with nothing added and nothing taken away.
Very few Friendly Cups seem to use Power Mode ... look at the currently running cups and the currently proposed cups and the only Power Mode cup seems to be the Scandinavian Cup.

I think this creates a slight problem ... i.e. there are probably teams that would like to participate in Friendly cups but don't want to get their arse kicked every game by teams such as Kharkhiv Atlantes, Pink Panthers, Leverkusen Leopards, Leeds Celtics etc ... i.e. the real powerhouse teams of RZA.
Maybe there needs to be a "middle ground" option which would attract a wider range of teams but still make the Friendly Cup a competitive and interesting option ?

Here are the specifics of what I'm suggesting ............

Suggestion :- add a Third mode for Friendly Cups called "Handicap mode" (first mode is 'normal mode', second mode is 'power mode')

Reason :- Gives another option for Managers of Friendly Cups, could also appeal to less-established teams, weaker teams, teams who normally don't play Friendly Cups.

Methodology :- Pretty straightforward really, the Manager of the Friendly Cup would handicap each game entirely based upon his own judgement. The handicap would be effective from the starting scoreline of the game ......I'll give you an example .......

Imagine that my team is playing Team B. The Cup manager thinks that Team B is stronger than my team by about 10 points. This means that when the game kicks off, the score starts at My Team 10 - Team B 0 .
After that, everything remains the same ... i.e.the match just plays as it normally would.
This would affect the playbook ... i.e. if you have Playbook settings that are in effect when you're "behind" or "behind by x" then these settings may well be in effect .... but as you know this before the game starts it shouldn't be a big deal.

Pro's :- The biggest Pro is the ability to handicap games and try to make them competitive and interesting.

Con's :- The biggest con is that the Cup Manager would have the sole ability to set the handicaps i.e. you would need to trust the cup manager ....having said that, if the cup manager wants to "fiddle things" currently, he can play little tricks such as putting his own team in the weakest group etc (not saying that anybody actually does that ).
