I've found a six months old thread in Suggestions, but before I resurrect it, I'd like to know if any decisions has been made about it, as I have some suggestions I'd like to share

The only way to make this possible would be to forbid switching the players position if he is 30 or older. Otherwise you could change a RB (retire early) to a K (retire late), before the seasonrollover.
