This may be a little bit sad, but at the moment, having LONG been eliminated from any Post-Season activity
 , currently one of my favourite moments of the RZA week is Youth Pull....... but not to hope that the youngster I pick is a 50/50 INT/TWK, 3 Trait player - but strangely to hope that I pick a blowout!
My Youth Academy has 21 younsters in it, so that that I can assign a youth pull to it. Then if I keep the YP I cut someone to make ready for the next Training update. The guy walking the ‘Cut’ line has now survived so many Youth Pulls that if he can squeak just a few more, I will then be attempting to contract the 20yr olds in the YA before Season close, he will get an even longer stay of execution, and I can go back to looking for 'the Diamond in the rough' without feeling guilty. What is so funny is that this’ Dead Man Walking’ will at his very very best, peak as an average back-up player, so as his lucky streak is well past it's sell-by date, I thought I'd start a tribute Thread to all those under-dog and journeyman players lest we forget. I tip my hat to Iain Cathcart - a mere 18 years old, may the luck always be with you |
